Every time Mickey burned a building, he saw the Fire Man trapped in the flames. Mickey wanted to help the Fire Man, but no matter how many people he sacrificed to feed him, the Fire Man could never escape.
It broke Mickey’s heart.
But Mickey was never a quitter and he was a real smart kid. He started his degree in Chemical and Nuclear Engineering.
Mickey would do his learning, and get his job, and climb the career ladder up and up and up and up, and one day . . . one day he would light the world on fire and free the Fire Man.
